A: Yes, it is free! You can sign up for City Avenue Rewards in-person at any of our store locations or on the City Avenue Market mobile app.

A: Simply provide your phone number to the cashier at the checkout before paying and they will look up your account. For information on how to sign up on the rewards app, please see the instructions about the mobile app on the Community page.

A: Once you have enough points for a reward, please let the cashier know that you’d like to redeem your points at the time of purchase. Please provide your phone number and kindly present a photo ID. The name on the ID must match the name(s) on the City Avenue Rewards account. Photo ID must be presented for the purpose of protecting customers’ points, due to the risk of others redeeming your points by providing your phone number at the checkout.

A: Yes, please retain and bring your receipt to any City Avenue Market store within 14 days from the date of purchase on the receipt.

A: You may check your points balance by inquiring with the cashier in-store, check your purchase receipt, or check on the City Avenue Market mobile app by creating and signing into your account. Your points balance is displayed on the bottom of your purchase receipt. It will display the previous points balance, the number of points earned on the purchase, and the new points balance. For information on how to sign up on the app (and link your existing rewards account), please see the instructions about the mobile app on the Community page.

A: Yes, you may choose to share with a family member to accumulate the points faster. However, please note that the person who signed up for the rewards program originally is the only one that may make changes to the rewards account, such as changing the phone number. If you’d like, you may request to add your family member’s name onto your account so that they are authorized to make changes and/or redeem points. If you would like your family member(s) to redeem points on your account, their names must be added onto the account, as the cashier needs to match the account name with an ID at the time of redemption.

A: Points are non-transferable to another individual.

A: Points are earned on the majority of items with a few exceptions. Points are not earned on the following: purchase of gift cards, taxes, delivery fees, charitable donations, bottle deposits, environmental fees, coupon discount, points redemption portion of a transaction, cashback, and other products/services specified as exclusions from time to time.
